The Public Intelligence Project is a legally recognized sub-agency and office under the Public Intelligence and Military Medical Research Divisions of the CIA Labs. Established by a Classified Legislative Committee in Washington DC, and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in McLean, Virginia, in 2010 under the Obama administration.
This initiative operates under the oversight of the United States Department of Defense, specifically the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). The objective of the Public Intelligence Project, is to enhance transparency in government operations. Additionally, the project is co-managed by the Department of Justice, with AUSA Catherine Connelly (Washington, D.C.) serving as the acting agency head, ensuring proper government oversight, in all Public Intelligence Project activities, according to DoD policy, and applicable law and regulations.
